Wellbeing for Yourself and Your Teams
Staff wellbeing isn't just about having an annual appraisal and occasionally sitting down for a chat. It is now recognised as a key component in ensuring quality and safety of healthcare in our organisations. Improving staff wellbeing has been shown to result in improved outcomes for patients, improved staff retention/recruitment and higher staff engagement. The adverse effects of poor staff wellbeing can be profound for the staff members, teams and the organisation's bottom line. Dr Wilkinson will introduce this topic, how we might measure wellbeing and what evidence is there to do something about it.
