I am the New Zealand Clinical Lead for the Australia and New Zealand Hip Fracture Registry with 15-years experience in Orthopaedic medicine and Perioperative care. I am the Clinical Director for the Older Persons Health Inpatient service in Christchurch and have strong interests in quality improvement and service development.

The Hip Fracture Registry is clinically led with the focus on driving quality improvement for older adults who break their hip. The Registry is gathering momentum and now has over 50,000 records. This talk will demonstrate how you can view the data for your hospital and customise data collection for local audits. It will also outline the research that is underway and the research opportunities available.
