Dr Heidi Omundsen MBChB, FANZCA, MBHL, is a specialist anaesthetist working in the Bay of Plenty, with an interest in perioperative medicine, shared decision making and service improvement. She holds a Master’s Degree in Bioethics and Health Law (Otago) and has a long-standing interest in the process by which we share information with our patients and support decision-making.
