Bronwyn did her undergraduate training at the University of Cape Town before moving to New Zealand and undertaking her psychiatric training in Auckland and then Christchurch. She received her fellowship from the RANZCP as well as her advanced training certificate in Old Age psychiatry in 2009 and has been practicing as an old age psychiatrist in Tauranga's Mental Health for Older People's service and memory clinic ever since. She also has an academic role with the university of Auckland supervising and teaching the medical students. She balances her time at the hospital with a busy home life with two gorgeous girls and differing sporting pursuits.
